D. Robert Pease is a multi-award winning author who has been interested in creating worlds since childhood. While drawing fantastical realms with paper and pencil, or dreaming up whole civilizations on an old typewriter, there has hardly been a time he hasn’t been off on some adventure in his mind, to the dismay of parents and teachers alike. It’s not surprising, then, he chose to write stories of imagination and worlds beyond our own. Each striving to answer the age-old question of where we fit in the grand story that is continually unfolding around us.

D. Robert is a graphic designer by trade, graduating from the University of Akron with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in illustration. For nearly two decades he has owned Walking Stick Communications, a website development company. He has also branched out into the book design business, creating covers and formatting book interiors for fellow authors through his company, Walking Stick Books.

With a love of Fantasy and Science Fiction, D. Robert has enjoyed discovering whole new worlds through the classics as well as modern tales by up-and-coming authors. His own stories span time and space with a particular bent toward finding the epic in every-day characters. Even if those characters happen to be time-traveling paraplegics or teenage geniuses who can travel in other people’s dreams. Several of his books have won numerous awards and are regularly rated highly by all who read them.

D. Robert lives in the gray-skied world of northeast Ohio with his wife, two kids, one dog, one cat, and a pond full of fish (all of whom are seriously smarter than he is… well, maybe not the fish.) When not writing, he can be found touring the country in an RV, with his trusty Jeep in tow.

Book 1

A mother’s secret. A son’s destiny. Can humanity be delivered from certain extinction?

“A little bit of Arthur C. Clarke, a little bit of Frank Herbert, lots of excitement, and an altogether well-told tale.” ~ KM Paradice (5 STARS)

“A very well written and enjoyable story in a possible apocalyptic future. The story is action-packed and contains very interesting characters. Contains a great storyline with plenty of twists and turns. Can be read as a stand-alone, but does contain an open ending for the next book in the series. Definitely well worth reading and highly recommended.” ~ J Phillips (5 STARS)

“Leave my people alone. This could be said today, to ourselves, to the domineering, egocentric, greed for power evil and malevolent humans. Although this series is focused to a YA public, I think it goes very well for adults like me. The thought-provoking argument, moral and philosophical is very pronounced for the reader. It reminds me of Asimov, Clarke and the Dune series (some of my fav classic authors), in a way. It’s an easy read and very enjoyable and emotive at the same time. Fast-paced, gritty fights, and many unique and unexpected turns. Just when you think you know it all, the twist is there to unbalance you. It’s also gratifying the mysterious way the author unfolds oh so bit by bit the secrets behind the outcomes and, LOL, keeps you nervous till the end, a delicious torture! A definite recommendation! Waiting for the next release!” ~ Meenaz Lodhi (5 STARS)

DREAM WARRIORS

Urban Fantasy

Joey Cola – Book 1

In the dream world, not everyone is what they appear to be.

WINNER:
Pinnacle Book Achievement
Award, Fall 2015 –
Best Young Adult Fiction

Dream Warriors is an amazing thrill ride. The plot is riveting and the continual twists and turns keep you guessing until the end. The story line is similar to the movie Inception, however Joseph’s quest to save the world from eminent danger is more noble than protecting one’s wealth through a corporate takeover. I enjoyed Joseph’s journey from a helpless and tormented kid, into a self-assured young man who finds his inner strength and finally stands up for himself.” ~ Stacie Theis (5 STARS)

“Filled with action, mythology, history, fantastic characters and worlds, there is a surprise waiting around every corner for the reader and the Dream Warrior himself. The background, scenes and situations/scenarios that take place are described in a way that allow the reader to visualize with the full compass of their imagination to bring it to life. It’s a story that shows how a hero is more than his sheer strength, it also takes intelligence, brains, wit, to overcome the evil before it prevails. The underdog is the true hero in this story, something that any YA or adult can take away from this story, that everyone can become something beyond physical strength.” ~ Oh My Bookness (5 STARS)
