“The Legacy of Rose Valley by J.P. Barnett was just as thrilling and action-packed as the rest of the series. If you like an action and suspense-filled thriller, this book is for you. Miriam’s bravery and selflessness through the difficulties shone brighter than ever. I had grown very attached to Miriam’s personality and loved watching her relationships with others. On the other hand, Macy was quite emotional and anxious as she got ready for her wedding. Who wouldn’t be freaked out as a cryptozoologist with a maid of honor who couldn’t possibly resist a mystery and lived in a town where a monster was on the loose? Nevertheless, Macy deserves kudos for how she faced the challenges ahead. She did the best she could with what was given to her, and other people in her circumstances wouldn’t do as well as her. I thoroughly enjoyed the final book of such an incredible collection of adventure, mystery, and action, so I was both happy and sad that this was the last book for this series. The ‘Lorestalker’ series has been a memorable read, and the sixth book is, undoubtedly, my favorite! I am looking forward to more of J.P. Barnett’s work.”
