His only problem? His boss, the ridiculously incompetent Phil Brinkman, has saddled Les with a partner he doesn’t want: Cyndra Baker. She’s a decade younger and hungry for success—still pissed-off at being only second in her class at Quantico.
Cyndra’s job is to keep an eye on Les, make sure he follows the book and does whatever Phil Brinkman orders, however ridiculous. The problem? Les is as elusive as a ghost, and he threw the book away years ago. He also has no use for Phil Brinkman whatsoever... unless Brinkman is the killer they’re seeking.
