Kevin Scollin

Voice Actor

PUBLISHER’S NOTE: Kevin Scollin is a voice actor who produces audiobooks for

When Kevin was in the 3rd grade his teacher told him he must have kissed the Blarney Stone. When he went home and told his mom this, she promptly smacked him up-side the head and told him to stop talking in class! He learned two valuable lessons from this: one, don’t get caught talking in class; two, it’s fun entertaining people by talking. And he’s been doing it ever since.

With over 30 years of media experience, Kevin has been entertaining and informing in a wide variety of ways: as a top-rated Air Personality at a Major Market radio station; as a freelance Voice Actor for commercial, industrial and eLearning projects, as well as audio books; and as a father of three. (Hey, how many different ways can you read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, what do you see?)

He’s also appeared in two movies that may end up on Netflix one of these days!

I was born and raised in the Northeast of France, and moved to the beautiful region of Wallonia, Belgium, with my family when I was 15. When I started learning English at 11, I knew at once I wanted to become a translator. I studied Multicultural Translation in high school and college, learning several languages, such as Spanish, Polish, and German. I graduated in 2011 and started working as a freelancer for translation agencies mainly in Belgium. I also got the contract for translating a monthly fashion magazine from French into English.

While in college, I got the opportunity to study in Portmouth, England. I followed English studies for one year. That experience made me want to travel! Since then I have visited lots of countries within Europe – Spain and UK are my favorites. Next step: visit the USA, and experience its multicultural environment. It was during my last year of college that I translated my first book, a smart guide about ecology, or how to become an eco-shopper. I therefore realized I wanted to translate books, novels, and short stories… and Evolved Publishing gave me a chance.

What do I do when I don’t translate or travel? I read! I read all the time, in French, in English, in Spanish. I love the smell and texture of paper, and I have so many books that I don’t even have a place to store them anymore. I also spend a lot of time training and walking my four cocker spaniels.

If you want to get in touch with me, do not hesitate to contact me through the contact tab above. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I have a confession: I’m addicted to audio books. (There, I’ve said it out loud. Isn’t that the first step?) I’ve listened to over 400 audio books, and I have the privilege of narrating new audio books myself.

As a voice actor, I simply love narrating audio books the best (out of all other forms of narration). Why? Because I love to tell the story. I love to get into the minds of each of the characters to see what makes them tick. I love the action and the interaction that occurs page after page in a well-written story. I love the crescendo leading to the climax, as well as the slow glide to the final ‘the end’ on the last page.

If you’ve never listened to an audio book before, go ahead and give one a try. I think you’ll be surprisingly pleased.

Catch me here at Evolved Publishing for the entire Noah Zarc trilogy! (And maybe some more beyond that.)

Luke Spooner

Luke Spooner a.k.a. ‘Carrion House’ and ‘Hoodwink House,’ currently lives and works in the South of England. Having recently graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a first class degree, he is now a full time illustrator for just about any project that peaks his interest.

Despite regular forays into children’s books and fairy tales, for which he has won awards for literary and artistic merit, his true love lies in anything macabre, melancholy or dark in nature and essence. He believes that the job of putting someone else’s words into a visual form, to accompany and support their text, is a massive responsibility – as well as being something he truly treasures.

The urge to write first struck David at age sixteen when working on a newsletter at a youth encampment in the woods of northern Maine. It may have been the wild night when lightning flashed at sunset, followed by the northern lights rippling after dark, or maybe it was the newsletter’s editor, a girl with eyes the color of the ocean, but he was inspired to write about the blurry line between reality and the fantastic.

Using two fingers and lots of white-out, he religiously typed five pages a day throughout college and well into his twenties. Then life intervened. When he found time again to daydream, the urge to write returned.

David now lives in the Great Northwest and anywhere else that catches his fancy. He no longer limits himself to five pages a day, and is thankful every keystroke for the invention of the word processor.
