Book 2: Ninja and Bunny to the Rescue

Their good friend, Tiberius the dog, is missing! Ruthie and her little sister Marian search everywhere, even the animal shelter, but he’s nowhere to be found.

Finally, Ruthie discovers a trail of scorched ground that could have been created by another creature from Fairyland, one far more dangerous.

The girls must again transform into Ninja and Bunny! But will they be able to save the day — and their friend — again?

Find out in the sisters’ second adventure full of wonder, imagination, and courage.

Peter Hollinghurst

I am an artist and illustrator living in the South of England near Brighton, Sussex. I developed a love of drawing and reading very young, so it’s probably no surprise that I think of my art as expressions of words, stories and dialogues. For me, a piece of art is not fully alive until it becomes part of some wider story, or someone viewing it responds to it by having their imagination wake up and encourage them to participate in a dialogue with it.

My early paintings were mostly done in acrylic or gouache, and then I moved onto using oils. I spent several years painting with traditional media and doing a variety of work on commission. More recent experimentation in Adobe Photoshop led me to creating art digitally, and I now find myself creating most of my artwork this way. Sometimes I mix traditional media and techniques with my digital work.

Artist

Daiki is a true global citizen, having graduated from fine art school in Japan. His work has taken him across diverse mediums traversing illustration and graphic design. With more than three decades of illustration behind him, his style is as diverse as the purpose for which it’s needed.

He’s told he has the uncanny knack of just knowing what’s needed for a work to bring it to life. Give him a story with nature, locations and characters, and his imagination is yours!

He loves music, art (of course), and origami-time with his kids.

Luke Spooner a.k.a. ‘Carrion House’ and ‘Hoodwink House,’ currently lives and works in the South of England. Having recently graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a first class degree, he is now a full time illustrator for just about any project that peaks his interest.

Despite regular forays into children’s books and fairy tales, for which he has won awards for literary and artistic merit, his true love lies in anything macabre, melancholy or dark in nature and essence. He believes that the job of putting someone else’s words into a visual form, to accompany and support their text, is a massive responsibility – as well as being something he truly treasures.
