“This book opened my eyes to the reality of what people grappling with physical disability face. It did not shy away from the resentment and torment Peter went through every day and it left a powerful message of perseverance that resonated with me. At the heart of the book, there was hope and a desire to emerge victorious against all odds.” ~ Readers’ Favorite Book Reviews, Jessica Barbosa (5 STARS)

Direct from the psyche and soul of a man who turns his training and experience as a clinical psychologist in on himself and, in so doing, finally demands and compels us to understand what he, and perhaps all, disabled people are forced to endure – and how this goes way beyond the disability itself. It brings shame upon all those who lack the basic humanity not to heap more torment, insult, and injury upon those who face struggles that they could never hope to fathom - yet Dr. Mason articulates these struggles in such heart-wrenching depth!
But it is also an inspiring triumph of the mind rising over the body to achieve dignity, respect, admiration, and a passion to help others. It's an easy read - but also a most difficult one!

I highly recommend this book to everyone. I've gained valuable insights into the challenges some among us face and if you face similar problems, this book will lift you up. Oh, and it's a must for parents. Really any parents! I hope they make a movie out of it. It would be great and would help millions of folks!
