A war is brewing between angels and demons, and like it or not, we’ll all have to choose sides. Steven Cabbott, a Nephilim born of a fallen angel father and a human mother, has chosen the side of angels, a curious decision for a killer like him.
Still, an angel promised him that redemption is possible—even for him—and the angel needed warriors on his side. Did he tell the truth? Steven hopes so, but doesn’t know whom to trust. Nonetheless, he must solve the mystery behind a series of gruesome murders before it’s too late, because he’s certain of this one thing: everyone’s soul is at stake.
EVOLVED PUBLISHING PRESENTS an intriguing, thrilling look inside the great battle between good and evil, possibly leading to the End of Days, with the second book in the multiple award-winning “A Nephilim Thriller” series of supernatural thrillers.
US Review of Books says, “This second book in the author’s ‘A Nephilim Thriller’ series continues to draw readers into its supernatural-tinged dystopian storyline with its fast action, creative plot, and well-developed characters. The author dives deeper into and expands on the religious, mythological lore of angels and demons and succeeds at making it palpable and relatable without being too hokey. The idea that technology can be used as a vehicle for evil is an old concept, but it’s particularly appropriate and clever in this novel.”

About the Author
EDITOR: I love reading. Books have always been a part of my environment and my life. I taught English Literature for many years and my favorite part was watching students find their voice in writing. I edited at Weekly Reader for about a year prior to taking time off to have children. They are now writing their own stories, and reading as many books as their mama! I manage an independent bookstore in Chappaqua, New York called Scattered Books, which is my second home. I travel often with my family, and friends, and always make sure I find the bookstores wherever we go.
EDITOR: In addition to a career as a newspaper editor, publisher, and manager, I've written fiction most of my life. The newspaper biz has taken my family and me from Phoenix, Arizona, to small towns in North Carolina and Texas, and from seven years in Washington, D.C., to five years in Asia. Born and raised a small-town kid, I'm as comfortable in Tokyo or Tuna, Texas. I now reside in a small community in Wisconsin where I manage the business operations of a daily newspaper. The variety of places I've lived and visited serve as settings for the characters who invade my head. I also edit fiction and non-fiction books for authors from around the world. It helps that I'm fluent in five languages: U.S. English, U.K. English, Canadian English, and Australian English, plus my native language, Texan.

About the author

Jeff Altabef lives in New York with his wife, two daughters, and Charlie the dog. He spends time volunteering at the writing center in the local community college. After years of being accused of "telling stories," he thought he would make it official. He writes in both the thriller and young adult genres. Fourteenth Colony, a political thriller, was his debut novel. Shatter Point, a thriller, published by Evolved Publishing was his second novel. It won the Pinnacle Book Achievement Award for Best Thriller, Fall 2014.
Jeff's first Young Adult novel, Wind Catcher: A Chosen Novel, is being published on March 23rd by Evolved Publishing. He's very happy and proud that his co-author is his teenaged daughter, Erynn Altabef. Wind Catcher has won the 2015 Readers' Favorite Gold Medal for Coming of Age Novels, the 2015 Beverly Hills Book Award for Best YA Fiction and a Mom's Choice Award.
As an avid Knicks fan, Jeff is prone to long periods of melancholy during hoops season. Jeff has a column on The Examiner focused on writing and a blog designed to encourage writing by those who like telling stories.

Steven and his small band of misfits must fight money, power and Lucifers minions to try and prevent this visor from becoming a norm. He continued to grow in power and abilities. But is he powerful enough to fight one of the fallen angels??
It's an interesting story. The setting makes it believable. Good versus evil will always be the situation.
