Excellent book. The character visuals are great just in the text, in the way that they’re described so well, but the added illustrations are a great touch. The book flows quickly, keeping you glued to the pages, and is written/edited in a clean, professional manner. I will anxiously await the next book in this series.

I was blown away right from the start! The SS has definitely landed a spot in my top 10 of all time favorites. I’m not good at writing a quick synopsis so i will refer you to amazons account of it, but the uniqueness of this story is what had me hooked. The creatures the author has created are like none i have read about before. Some are beautiful and some are horrifying, a great mixture of good and evil. I easily fell in love with all of the main characters and many of the secondary characters. Easily a book to capture your emotions and make you feel a part of the action, and take you away to another world.

I’ve never been a fantasy fan but I decided to try this to support the author. I am SOOOOO very glad that I did! What an adventure for the mind! I suppose I can call myself a fantasy fan after all! Mallory Rock did an absolutely amazing job on the cover. I hope more people get a chance to read this book…..absolutely worth it!! I can’t wait until the 2nd book comes out!
